Advantages and Precautions for Medium-Pressure UV Disinfectors

Advantages of Medium-Pressure UV Disinfectors
1. Rapidly and effectively kills various microorganisms, including E. coli.
2. Through photolysis, it can effectively degrade chemicals in water.
3. Simple operation and easy maintenance
4. Small footprint, large water treatment capacity
5. Pollution-free, highly environmentally friendly, and does not cause toxic side effects.
6. Low investment cost, low operating costs, and easy equipment installation.
7. A unique inner-wall treatment process was designed based on optical principles, enabling maximum utilization of ultraviolet light within the chamber and significantly enhancing the disinfection effect. Methods for the use and maintenance of medium-pressure UV sterilizers.

Precautions for Medium-Pressure UV Disinfectors
1. Do not look directly at the UV lamp with your eyes while working.
2. If straight-line installation is required, adopt a low-inlet, high-outlet installation method to slow down the water flow and enhance the UV irradiation effect.
3. When in the open state, repeatedly turning the switch on and off will severely shorten the lifespan of the lamp tube.
4. If the water flow rate is too high, please install a flow restrictor and a pressure relief device.
5. When the water pressure exceeds 3 kg, please install a check valve at the outlet to protect the quartz sleeve.
6. When used in conjunction with a normally closed solenoid valve, please install the solenoid valve at the water inlet.
7. If the turbidity of the raw water exceeds 5 NTU, a pre-filter must be installed to ensure the effectiveness of UV disinfection.
8. Every two to three months of use, remove the quartz sleeve from the UV sterilization lamp and inspect its exterior for any signs of scaling, in order to determine the appropriate timing for the next cleaning of the quartz sleeve’s exterior.
