Features of medium-pressure UV disinfectors:

Temperature probe: Monitors the water temperature at all times, ensuring that the device operates within the working temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Ultraviolet Intensity Probe: The intensity monitor used in medium-pressure UV disinfectors responds only to specific ultraviolet wavelengths that have a sterilizing effect. It can be connected to computers and PLCs, helping to save energy consumption during system operation.

Quartz sleeves: To better protect the UV lamps, each UV lamp is encased in a quartz sleeve. Therefore, the quality of the quartz sleeve largely determines the disinfection efficiency of medium-pressure UV sterilizers. High-quality quartz sleeves can ensure that the UV light penetration rate reaches over 90%.

Daily Cleaning: Due to water quality and exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, the surface of the quartz sleeve will crystallize after a period of use. Once the crystal layer reaches a certain thickness, it will begin to impair the UV light’s transmission rate. Therefore, the quartz sleeve needs to be cleaned periodically. The medium-pressure UV disinfection unit is equipped with an automatic cleaning system that performs timed, automatic cleaning of the quartz sleeve based on readings from the UV intensity sensor. During the cleaning process, the system operates normally without requiring water shutdown or manual intervention, significantly reducing the workload for on-site personnel.

UV Lamp: Thanks to the latest UV technology used in medium-pressure UV disinfectors, these systems not only effectively eliminate bacteria at the source but also reduce the number of UV lamps required. You only need to replace one UV lamp every 2 to 3 years (as indicated by the UV intensity probe in the control box), significantly lowering daily operating costs. Replacing the UV lamp in a medium-pressure UV disinfector takes just 5 minutes.
