Flow-through ultraviolet sterilizer The irradiation intensity boasts high stability, with a sterilization lifespan of up to 9,000 hours. The quartz glass tube features high transmittance—its light transmittance is ≥87%—and a sterilization lifespan of 8,000 hours. Moreover, its irradiation intensity remains stable and unchanged at 253.7 nm. In the event of lamp failure, an audible and visual alarm will promptly alert the user. The reaction chamber is designed with a highly reflective mirror surface for enhanced sterilization efficiency. Compared to similar foreign products, this device exhibits a 18%–27% increase in sterilization intensity, achieving a sterilization rate as high as 99.99%.
The body of the flow-through UV sterilizer is made entirely of stainless steel, both internally and externally. The exterior surface of the body has been polished to enhance UV irradiance, ensuring that the items being disinfected will not be left unsterilized during the disinfection process.
Leveraging the principle of UV sterilization, professional hospital-grade disinfection technology has been introduced into the realm of everyday life disinfection. These applications—such as indoor, household, automotive, and refrigerator sterilizers, as well as industrial sterilizers—are all designed to use high-frequency C-band ultraviolet light to damage the DNA of various microorganisms within 20 seconds to one minute. They can eliminate up to 99% of bacteria and viruses, including influenza viruses, hepatitis viruses, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis var. niger spores, a wide range of molds, and allergens. This provides people with a safe environment for food, clothing, housing, and transportation. These devices are particularly well-suited for quickly disinfecting surfaces of tableware, personal and public items, toys, and other objects, as well as for deodorizing, eliminating odors, and freshening the air.
I. Application Scope of Flow-Through Ultraviolet Sterilizers
1. Water used for seawater and freshwater hatchery and aquaculture (for fish, eels, shrimp, abalone, shellfish, and other species).
2. Disinfection of water used in the food processing industry, including water used for juice, milk, beverages, beer, edible oils, and various canned goods and frozen desserts.
3. Disinfection of water used in hospitals and various laboratories, as well as disinfection of wastewater containing high concentrations of pathogenic organisms.
4. Disinfection of domestic water, including residential communities, office buildings, water treatment plants, hotels, restaurants, and other similar facilities.
5. Cooling water used in biochemical pharmaceuticals and cosmetic production must be disinfected.
6. Disinfection of water used in swimming pools and water recreational facilities.
II. Advantages of Flow-Through UV Sterilizers
1. High bactericidal efficiency: Ultraviolet light typically achieves a bactericidal and virucidal efficacy of 99% to 99.9% within one to two seconds.
2. Broad-spectrum, highly effective sterilization: Ultraviolet light boasts a broad-spectrum sterilization capability, capable of instantly killing nearly all types of bacteria and viruses.
3. No secondary pollution: UV disinfection does not require the addition of any chemical agents, so it will not cause secondary pollution to the water body or the surrounding environment. It also does not alter any components in the water.
4. Safe and environmentally friendly operation: Traditional disinfection technologies, such as those using chlorides or ozone, rely on disinfectants that are themselves highly toxic and flammable. Ultraviolet disinfection systems do not pose such safety risks.
5. Low operating and maintenance costs for UV sterilizers: UV sterilizers occupy a small footprint, have simple structural requirements, and involve low total investment. In terms of operation, their costs are also relatively low—when treating water at a capacity of 1,000 tons per day, their costs are only half those of chlorine disinfection.
