Detailed Explanation of the Modular Design and Cleaning System, as well as Ballast Technology, for Ultraviolet Disinfectors

A UV disinfection device primarily uses a UV mercury lamp as its light source and harnesses the 253.7nm ultraviolet radiation emitted when mercury vapor inside the lamp tube undergoes electrical discharge as its main spectral line. 1. Modular design
(1) Thanks to the pre-assembled modular components equipped with quick-connect cable connectors, installation and maintenance are greatly simplified. These components meet the stringent IP68-rated waterproof standard, making them exceptionally suitable for applications with high reliability requirements.
(2) Lower water resistance, higher reliability, and a flexible modular combination design.
2. UV Lamp Technology – Automatic Cleaning System
(1) It features internationally advanced UV lamps originally imported from the U.S. and Europe, and notably incorporates a mechanically automated cleaning system driven by compressed air.
(2) It can offer a selection of low-pressure high-intensity lamps, amalgam lamps, and medium-pressure lamps; and it can also integrate the cleaning device with an ultraviolet intensity detector.
(3) The lifespan of the lamp tube is approximately between 12,000 and 18,000 hours. Lower-cost replacement lamps can also be used, allowing users to select between manual or automatic operating modes.
3. Water Level Control Device – UV Intensity Sensor;
(1) It is a water-level control system that operates without requiring any additional power to discharge water. As a result, it is extremely simple to operate—especially since it allows for real-time online monitoring of the output intensity of the ultraviolet disinfection system.
(2) Smooth and automatic water level adjustment with strong water level regulation capability;
(3) Simple to manufacture, install, and operate.
4. Advanced Control System – Ballast Technology
(1) Electronic ballast specifically designed for UV lamps, featuring real-time UV dose regulation;
(2) It features built-in self-diagnosis capabilities, particularly with automatic alarm and shutdown functions for faults, and includes a lamp startup protection feature to provide lamp status alerts.
(3) Signal outputs—whether on-site or remote—can be provided, upon request from the user, either as originally imported products or domestically manufactured ones.
(4) Specialized designs can be tailored to meet specific user project requirements. The flexible modular design facilitates easy installation and maintenance.

(7) Provide an alarm function: When the light intensity drops below the user-defined threshold, an alarm signal will be triggered to enable the user to take timely action.
