Installation and Features of Flow-Through UV Sterilizers

   Flow-through ultraviolet sterilizer The interior and exterior of the unit are both made from 304L or 316L stainless steel. Both the inner and outer surfaces of the unit have been polished to enhance UV irradiance, ensuring that the items being disinfected will not experience incomplete disinfection or sterilization during the process. Below, we’ll share the installation instructions and key features of the flow-through UV sterilizer—let’s take a look together!

  I. Installation of Flow-Through Ultraviolet Sterilizers:

  1. Take out all the accessories and check them carefully.

  2. Install a sealing sleeve at the open end of the quartz tube.

  3. Insert the quartz tube into the stainless steel casing, then install a sealing ring at the silent end of the quartz tube.

  4. Screw the large stainless steel nut with holes onto the open end of the quartz tube fitted with a sealing sleeve.

  5. Put a sealing ring onto the silent end of the quartz tube (if it’s too tight, apply some soapy water to smooth it out—remember not to use excessive force. Quartz tubes are fragile and easily damaged).

  6. Screw on the stainless steel nut on the silent end of the quartz tube.

  7. Connect the fluorescent tube to the rectifier (Please pay attention to the orientation of the connection ports on the fluorescent tube and the rectifier—they are rectangular, not square—do not force the connection to avoid damage).

  8. Turn on the rectifier and see whether the light comes on. Please note: The indicator light on the rectifier is green. If the light is damaged or the rectifier itself is faulty, the light will not come on, and the indicator light on the rectifier will turn red. During subsequent use, you can check the color of the indicator light on the rectifier to confirm whether the light is functioning properly.

  9. Insert the lamp under test into the open end of the quartz tube (i.e., the end with the stainless steel nut and hole).

  10. Close the sealed maintenance cover—installation is complete. You can start using it once it’s powered on.

  II. Characteristics of Sterilization by Flow-Through Ultraviolet Sterilizers:

  1. Broad-spectrum sterilization is effective against nearly all microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and swimming organisms. Moreover, while fungi such as Cryptococcus and parasites like Giardia pose significant health risks to humans, bacteria that ozone cannot kill can still be eliminated.

  2. It has a fast sterilization speed and a high sterilization rate; common microorganisms and bacteria can be killed in just a few seconds.

  3. Environmentally friendly and safe, with no secondary pollution; uses purely physical sterilization without any other side effects.

  4. Low operation and maintenance costs;

  5. Continuous high-flow disinfection;

  6. Compact structure with a small footprint;

  7. Quick and easy installation, simple maintenance.
