By then, this “super project,” covering an area of 420,000 square meters, will have a daily sewage treatment capacity of 600,000 tons and a daily reclaimed water treatment capacity of 100,000 tons. It will serve four administrative districts and more than 1.95 million residents, accounting for one-fifth of Tianjin’s total sewage purification workload and helping to improve the overall water quality in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
